After the first cloture vote in the Senate Saturday night, only one more vote requires a 60 vote super majority: the vote to end debate in the Senate which will come in early December. If they pass this one remaining hurdle, Senate Democrats can dump 10 of their own and move the bill to the left in conference with the House and vote on final passage with just 50 votes. All 40 Republican senators and Independent Democrat Joe Lieberman need to vote “No” on the final cloture vote to prevent this assault on American freedom.
