President Obama has squandered a year focusing on radical health care legislation and on other leftist initiatives that the American people don’t want. Obama’s priorities are misplaced at a time when millions of Americans are without jobs and the American economy needs clear policies of lower taxes, limits to spending and no threat of imposing more costs on business through burdensome regulations. We have experienced two terror attacks on US soil – the Ft. Hood attack and the underwear bomber in Detroit – and Obama continues to treat this threat as a marginal annoyance.
There may be some window dressing as the election approaches, but don’t count on Obama changing his focus to get the right things done.
